When ready you can head to your rustic table next to an open fire and open brick work walls. Romance will be in the air as the ambience takes over and you settle in to peruse the fantastic menu.
Head Chef Ollie Moore teams his modern British style with a local forager to ensure each meal is not only to the highest standard, but often contain unusual ingredients such as hogweed shoots or scarlet elf cap. Locally sourced where possible there is always something different on the menu and something slightly out of the ordinary.

The food changes regularly with big seasonal updates 3 times a year. The Kit and Kaboodle were fortunate enough to sample the Rabbit Ravioli, Pork Tenderloin and Carrot Cake. What a treat they were! The meats were mouthwateringly tender and the flavours…well who knew you could create so many wonderful things with parsnips!
The attentive staff will help you select the perfect wine to accompany your meal whilst you enjoy the warming surroundings, soft lighting and agreeable background music.
Starters average around £10, the mains hover around £22 and desserts around the £8 mark. The higher end pricing only reflects the quality of food delivered here.
