Get off the beaten track with Go Ape Forest Segway!

Looking for an activity slightly different? Then we highly recommend Forest Segway with Go Ape at Moors Valley Country Park. A chance to get back with nature for a whole hour – plus youGoApeForestSegway
are doing your bit for the environment! Segways are electrically powered and self-balancing machines and are super fun to drive.

Before you head off on your adventure you are given a safety briefing and demonstration and asked to do a few laps on their their safety track first – once everyone is happy, off yoGoApeSegwayu segway! You are all on a restricted speed to begin with to allow you to get used to them and then you are taken off the restriction and able to reach speeds of 13mph! It is super easy to get the hang of and you will feel like a segway pro in no time as you are zooming through the rugged terrains and beautiful forest.

You go uphill, downhill, through mud, puddles and over lots of tree roots so you have to ensure your knees are bent at all times to allow for suspension as the segway does not have any! It really is an exhilarating experience and one of the most exciting trips through the forest you could ever have! One that we here at The Kit and Kaboodle will be doing again! …

Here’s a full list of where you can enjoy segways with Go Ape: Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire; Bracknell, Berkshire; Grizedale Forest, Cumbria; Moors Valley, Dorset; Thetford, Suffolk; Cannock, Staffordshire; Dalby Forest, Yorkshire; Delamere Forest, Cheshire; Black Park, Buckinghamshire or Sherwood Pines, Nottinghamshire.
